ITEM: A report on a Children’s or YA manuscript (fiction) by Emily Gale

DETAILS: Manuscript no longer than 60k words; can substitute with 3 picture books. Manuscripts can be emailed, but cannot be accepted until after July 1st 2011. Report will be sent within 30 days of receiving the manuscript, unless otherwise agreed. Report to contain detailed feedback covering the areas of plot and structure; characterisation; writing and language; market potential; and other areas depending on the type of manuscript.

BIO: Emily Gale was an editor of children’s books in the UK for 8 years, working in-house for Penguin and Egmont, as well as freelance. She has published children’s books with Ladybird, Frederick Warne and Parragon, and a YA novel with Chicken House.
